Refund Policy (core.and.more.essentials)

This Refund Policy explains how returns, refunds, and cancellations work for orders placed on core.and.more.essentials (“we”, “us”, “our”) by customers in the United Kingdom. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

 

1) Change-of-mind cancellations (UK distance selling)

 

If you are a UK consumer buying online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods (the “cooling-off period”), even if the item is not faulty.

To cancel, email us at core.and.more.essentials@gmail.com with:
 

  • your order number,

  • the item(s) you want to cancel/return,

  • your name and delivery postcode.

 

If you cancel within the cooling-off period, you then have 14 days to send the goods back after telling us you want to cancel.

 
2) Important exceptions (health & hygiene sealed goods)

 

Your right to cancel may not apply to certain items, including sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed (for example, sealed cosmetics or hygiene-related products).
If an item arrives sealed and you break/remove the seal, we may refuse a change-of-mind return for that item where this exception applies.

 

3) Return conditions (change of mind)

 

For eligible change-of-mind returns:
 

  • Items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, with all included parts.

  • You may handle goods only as necessary to inspect them (as you would in a shop). Excessive handling may reduce the refund.

 

4) Return shipping costs (change of mind)

 

Unless we state otherwise, return postage is the customer’s responsibility for change-of-mind returns.

 

5) Return authorisation (required)

 

Please contact us before sending anything back. Because we use third-party fulfilment (dropshipping), returns may need to be sent to a specific address and follow a specific process.

Returns sent without authorisation or to the wrong address may not be received and may not be eligible for a refund.

 

6) Refund timing and method (change of mind)

 

If your return is approved, we will issue your refund within 14 days of:

  • receiving the returned goods, or

  • receiving evidence that you have sent them back (whichever is earlier, depending on the situation).

 

Refunds are processed to the original payment method (PayPal or card), unless we agree otherwise.

 

7) Faulty, damaged, or not-as-described items

 

If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under UK consumer law.

  • your order number,

  • a clear description of the issue, and

  • photos/videos showing the problem (where relevant).

 

Damaged on arrival: report within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the item and packaging.

Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund.

 

If your order has not arrived within 20 business days after dispatch, contact us with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier/fulfilment partner.

 

If the parcel is confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement or refund, depending on stock availability and the outcome of the investigation.

 

9) Cancellations before dispatch

 

If you contact us quickly after ordering, we will try to cancel your order before it is dispatched. If the order has already been dispatched, you may need to follow the return process in this policy.

 
10) Exchanges

 

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you want a different item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
